Our Malaysian factory supplies our customer base in SE Asia and Australia. News from Dortek
On Wed 14th September, Mr Ciaran Cannon T.D, Minister at the Dept of Education in Ireland, visited Dortek’s manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru Malaysia. The Minister was accompanied by His Excellency Mr Declan Kelly, Ireland’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr Joe Hayes, Ireland’s Ambassador to Singapore plus officials from the Embassies, Dept of Education and Enterprise Ireland.
The Minister, who was on an official visit to Malaysia and Singapore, was welcomed by Ollie Darcy, Factory Manager and Fong Kim Hee, Sales Manager. Minister Cannon viewed the plant and met all the staff at the factory. “It is great to see Irish Companies doing so well in Malaysia and great to see the links further strengthened between the two countries”, the Minister said.
During the factory tour the Minister and his colleagues viewed doors currently in manufacture for a number of Dortek Asia projects in the nutritionals, food, Pharma and hospital sectors.
